Camelot Realty Group Appointed Managing Agent for East of East Lofts in Long Island City

13-14 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City, Queens

March 23, 2026 — New York, NY

Camelot Realty Group announced today that it has been retained as the managing agent for East of East Lofts, the acclaimed 13-unit steel-framed condominium at 13-14 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. The appointment expands Camelot's growing presence in the Queens market and adds one of the borough's most architecturally distinctive residential buildings to its portfolio.

“East of East represents exactly the kind of building we do best with — a boutique property where the residents expect hands-on, responsive management and where every detail of the building's character matters. We're honored to be entrusted with one of Long Island City's architectural landmarks.”

— David Goldoff, Founder & President, Camelot Realty Group

About East of East Lofts

Designed by award-winning architect Brian Ripel of RSVP Studio and developed by Dr. Amol Sarva, East of East Lofts is a seven-story condominium clad in Cor-Ten weathering steel — the same material used in the Barclays Center and Richard Serra's iconic sculptures. The building's facade, which intentionally develops a deep russet patina over time, has been described as “the most important new building in the borough” by the New York Daily News and “chic and rusty” by the New York Times.

Completed in 2012, the building features 13 floor-through lofts with direct private elevator entry, solid oak floors, balconies with Financial District views, and a seventh-floor roof deck with a living green wall overlooking MoMA PS1. Its steel-frame construction — unusual for residential buildings — provides taller ceilings, sharper architectural lines, and a direct connection to Long Island City's industrial heritage.

Expanding in Queens

The addition of East of East Lofts brings Camelot's managed portfolio to 54 properties spanning Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Westchester County. The firm, which received the 2025 RED Award for Property Management Company of the Year and the REBNY Community Leadership Award, has seen accelerating demand from condominium boards seeking an alternative to large-scale corporate management firms.

“Boards are realizing that a 500-building portfolio and a 41-building portfolio deliver very different levels of attention,” said Goldoff. “When a board president calls us, they reach me — not a call center. That's the Camelot difference, and it's why buildings like East of East choose us.”
